State Police said they stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at about 10:35 p.m.
The driver, Julio C. Rodriguez, of Yonkers was found to in possession of cocaine and marijuana, state police said. Rodriguez was taken into custody, transported, and processed at State Police barracks Monroe where he was subsequently charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree (a Class D felony) and unlawful possession of marijuana (a violation).
Rodriguez was arraigned before the Town of Woodbury Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,750 cash bail or $3,500 bond.
