Police officers and firefighters will face off Saturday to raise money for the Westchester County Police Explorer’s program in the inaugural Guns & Hoses hockey game.
Action gets underway at 1 p.m. at the Evarts Rink at The Harvey School in Katonah.
The game will pit a team of officers from the county police and other local police departments against a team of firefighters comprised of members of northern Westchester volunteer fire departments.
Adults are asked to make a $10 donation; kids will be admitted for free.
Spectators who bring their skates will have the opportunity to hit the ice themselves for an open skate following the game. In addition, a postgame barbecue will be held. Tickets for the barbecue are $5.
