TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – State Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D-Yonkers) was re-elected Tuesday in her uncontested bid for the 35th District.

Stewart-Cousins was first elected to the New York State Senate in 2006 and was a Westchester County legislator for more than a decade.

Her newly redrawn district includes Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Elmsford, Greenburgh, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Tarrytown and parts of Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle and Scarsdale.
