Mayor Levitt-Flisser To Speak At Scarsdale Forum

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Scarsdale Mayor Miriam Levitt-Flisser will present the “State of the Village” on Oct. 4 at the Scarsdale Forum Inc. and Town and Village Civic Club general membership meeting.

The meeting gets under way at 8 p.m. in the Scott Room at the Scarsdale Public Library. Preceding the meeting, there will be a reception honoring the members of the 2012-13 Procedure Committee at 7:30 p.m. The public is welcome.

Procedure Committee Chair David Brodsky and Vice Chair Eli Mattioli will then be on a panel with Beverley Sved, chair of the Forum’s Non-Partisan Procedure Committee,  to discuss proposed amendments to the Non-Partisan Resolution. 

A question-and-answer period will follow each presentation. 

The Scarsdale Forum is a civic organization that is more than a century old. It is dedicated to improving life in Scarsdale. The Forum studies issues before local, regional and state governing bodies and provides input and recommendations through public reports and statements.
