Scarsdale Board Nominating Committee Begins BOE Election Process

SCARSDALE, N.Y. — The Scarsdale Board Nominating Committee announced the beginning of next school year's Board of Education election process.

The Scarsdale Board Nominating Committee is seeking replacements for current board president Mary Beth Gose and trustee Lewis Leone, Jr., who are ineligible to be nominated again.

The Scarsdale Board Nominating Committee is seeking replacements for current board president Mary Beth Gose and trustee Lewis Leone, Jr., who are ineligible to be nominated again.

Current board president Mary Beth Gose and trustee Lewis Leone, Jr. are completing their second terms, so are ineligible to be nominated again.

The nominating committee is looking for candidates to replace Gose and Leone and will nominate two people at the end of the nominating committee's season.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, an American citizen, a qualified voter, and a district resident for at least one year prior to the May 19 school board election.

All district residents are welcome to propose names of qualified individuals through a biographical information form available at the SBNC website, www.scarsdalesbnc.com.
