The new luxury assisted living community with onsite memory care program, nearing completion at 9 Saxon Wood Road in Scarsdale, is slated to open early this year.
“Both of our new associates come to us with diverse and dynamic backgrounds but share in common their ability to connect with individuals and families and act as a community resource. They will welcome visitors at The Ambassador’s Welcome Center and provide continuing outreach to the surrounding community,” General Manager David Pomerantz said.
Azbell has a 20-year career specializing in senior care and home health services, recently serving as director of community outreach at a Brooklyn-based assisted living community and director of volunteer services for Caring Hospice Services of Brooklyn.
She holds a master's degree in social work from Hunter College’s School of Social Work, and has been involved with the East Side Council on the Aging and Brooklyn Borough Wide Interagency Council on Aging.
Morello has been involved in the hospitality industry as the chef and owner of Good Taste Personal Chef Services in northern New Jersey. She currently serves on the board of trustees pf Goals of Life, Inc.
The Ambassador Welcome Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with evening and weekend visits by appointment. The Center is accessed via Mamaroneck Avenue Exit 23N off the Hutchinson River Parkway and Exit 18B Mamaroneck Avenue North off I-95.
