WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. – Claire Marie Bicknell, of West Haverstraw, died Dec. 20 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City. She was 85.
Bicknell was born March 21, 1930, in Haverstraw to Michael and Mary Anderson.
She worked at High Tor Lanes Bowling Alley and Kingman Home Improvement.
Bicknell was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by two children, Mary Jean Grau of Haverstraw and John J. Burkert of Cumming, Ga., along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Maureen Mariano, brother Michael Anderson and many nieces and nephews.
The George M. Holt Funeral Home in Haverstraw handled the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either St Peter’s and St Mary’s Church or United Hospice of Rockland.
