Trveor Dixon 29, of Henry Street, was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny while he was appearing in court on unrelated charges, police said.

Dixon broke into several vehicles and took credit cards from unlocked vehicles, which were later used at Target stores in the Hartford area, police said.

An extensive investigation revealed that he would steal the cards and then give them to an accomplice to use, police said.

Dixon was turned over to the court marshal and is expected to appear on the charges on Aug. 15, police said.
