WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. -- Erich M. Odenheim, of Wood-Ridge, died Aug. 17. He was 78.
For 28 years, he was a supervisor of Social Services, employed by the City of New York. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marines. He was a member of Heightened Independence & Progress.
He was the husband of Pilar (nee Garcia) Odenheim; father of Erich B. Odenheim and Carla M. Odenheim and her husband Roy Carter; grandfather of Amelia Carter; brother of Lynne Kalmar, Kenneth Odenheim and the late Laurie Odenheim; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial visitation from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National M.S. Society - N.J. Metro Chapter, Aspen Corp. Park #1, 1480 U.S. Highway 9 North, Suite 301, Woodbridge, N.J. 07095.
