Officers were called to parking lot on Carter Henry Drive on a report that several women were fighting in the area at about 2:15 a.m., police said.

Witnesses told officers they tried to break up the fight. When officers arrived, only two women were still on the scene.

While officers were talking to the pair, who said they had been in an argument with a group of women who had left, another woman arrived, police said. She told officers a heavy-set woman with red hair who was involved in the incident bit her on the cheek and finger, ripping off her nail, police said.

The third woman said she sought treatment at Bridgeport Hospital before coming back to the scene, police said.

The women were all sent on their way, police said.
