Vincent Palacios had previously pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in the death of Michelle Castillo, a 24-year-old Weehawken resident, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
On June 19, 2021, Weehawken Police responded to 561 Hudson Ave. and found Castillo unresponsive in the bathroom, Suarez said. She was soon pronounced dead and the cause of death was determined to be from stab wounds to the neck, Suarez said. Palacios was arrested soon after in Union City, Suarez said.
