Winning $33K Lottery Ticket Sold At Port Jefferson Store

A winning lottery ticket worth over $30,000 was sold at a Long Island business.

A top-prize ticket was sold at a West Islip convenience store, lottery officials announced after the Take 5 drawing on Saturday, May 6.

The top-prize-winning Take 5 ticket, worth $33,667, was sold in Port Jefferson Station at the Sunoco station located at 669 Old Town Road, New York Lottery announced.

It was sold for the evening drawing held on Monday, Oct. 30.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize money.

Players can check their numbers on the New York Lottery website.
