Ardsley Is One Of Five U.S. School Districts To Pilot Common Core App

ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- Students at Ardsley schools are getting a taste of what new standards under the Common Core curriculum are going to feel like. The District is just one of five across the country that is part of a pilot program testing an iPad app designed to prep them for the new standards, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The district recently spent $500 a piece on 90 iPads for the elementary, middle and high schools. The district also outfitted all of the schools with wi-fi in the hopes that kids would begin to bring their own tablets, The Wall Street Journal reported.
