The budget passed by a vote of 317 to 101.

"The “yes” vote will enable the District to continue to provide an outstanding education to all of our students within a sound financial framework," District Superintendent Lisa Brady said.

Residents also re-elected incumbents Tracy Baron, who received 355 votes, and Robert Reiser, who received 336 votes, to the Board of Education for a three-year term.

"Congratulations to Tracy and Bobby. I look forward to continuing our work together over the next several years," Brady said in a press release. "Both of these trustees have been instrumental in helping our School District navigate the new educational terrain by lending their professional expertise to the Board and administrative team."

The $41 million budget is $1.1 million more -- or a 2.3 percent increase over 2013-2014 as the district stayed under the state's tax levy cap.

Brady also thanks the community for its support.

"Thank you to our wonderful school community for your ongoing support," she said. "The school budget results are very gratifying and affirm the community’s strong commitment to the Dobbs Ferry School District and its global vision.
