SCARSDALE, N.Y. A presentation on the Elementary and Middle School World Language Program and a status update on the feasibility and progress toward starting a school foundation will highlight Monday night's Scarsdale Board of Education meeting.
The 8 p.m. meeting at Quaker Ridge Elementary School, which is open to the public, will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. school visit and a 7:15 p.m. open meeting of the board with parents from the Quaker Ridge community in the multipurpose room of the new building.
The Elementary and Middle School World Language Program Update will be presented by Lynne Shain, assistant superintendent for instruction, and World Language Coordinator Sarah Whittington. The foundation report will be offered by Steering Committee Chairwoman Ellen Miller-Wachtel and Elizabeth Guggenheimer, vice president of the school board and board liaison to the steering committee.
