The “Saved by the Bell” star, now host of the television entertainment show "Exrtra," will lead a pep rally for nearly 1,500 blue-shirt clad middle school students at Albert Leonard Middle School on behalf of STOMP Out Bullying’s “Blue Shirt Day.”

Lopez will address the crowd and advise them about the dangers and realities of bullying, and cyber-bullying, and educate them about creating a bully-free environment in and out of school. As part of the assembly, limited edition blue STOMP Out Bullying shirts will also be handed out to students.

He comes to New Rochelle right as the school district begins observing National Bullying Prevention Awareness month.  The pep rally will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6 at the Albert Leonard Middle School gym.
