SCARSDALE, N.Y. – The Scarsdale Teen Center is hosting classes designed to help students succeed on the SAT.
The recently re-opened Teen Center is teaming with Catalyst Prep for “SAT Boot Camp,” an extensive two-day workshop. Classes are being held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 29 and 30.
Topics covered will include math questions that stump 90 percent of test takers, how to get a perfect score on the essay, spotting hidden clues which will reveal the main idea in a paragraph and how to maintain focus and clarity while facing the pressure of the test.
The deadline to enroll is 6 p.m., Wednesday. The cost for both days is $165. Walk-ins are discouraged, and will only be accepted if supplies are available. For further information and enrollment, go to the Catalyst Prep website.
