SCARSDALE, N.Y. By introducing more than 50 new classes to an already packed curriculum in the fall, the Scarsdale Adult School is once again ready to prove that education doesnt have to stop once you graduate.
For those who struggle to keep up with the latest social media trends, the school will offer a class that will make sense of Facebook, Twitter and other popular social media websites. The school also will give instruction about ways to improve productivity and connectivity through the Google Suite of free applications.
For high school students getting ready to make the leap to college, there will be SAT preparation courses. Other unique new classes include speed reading, Bollywood dance, tarot card reading and parent-child cooking.
Instructors at the Adult School include local educators and business owners. Yoga classes are offered from the owner of the Yoga Station, and wine tastings are offered at Vintology Wine and Spirits. The founder of the Bronxville Wellness Sanctuary hosts holistic classes, and other village proprietors will have tips and tricks in their various fields of expertise.
