The program runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. beginning June 3 and continuing for three weeks. The program is hosted by computer teacher Peter McKenna. The program will allow families to "explore the tools and project in the current maker movement, from robotics to 3D printing," according to a press release. Tuition is $75 per person and the class is designed for family groups from ages 8 to 80.

The school is also offering College Preparation Courses for high school students. It will host "Kaplan's ACT/SAT Combo Test" from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20. Students may take a practice exam representative of each section on the ACT and on the SAT.

Beginning Thursday, May 22, high school students can learn from college essay coach Andrea Atkins on “College Essay Basics,” a two week seminar. Atkins will "explain what the admissions officers want and how to use the essay to demonstrate who you really are. The course will cover the Common App essay topics, mistakes to avoid, the difference between boasting and highlighting achievements, and how to help your parents help you," according to the release.

Tuition is $50. By the end of the two sessions, students will have narrowed their topics and begun to outline their essay.
