There are plenty of student tours to look forward to, combined with lectures throughout the next few weeks.

On Friday, students will get the chance to tour the National Museum of the American Indian and the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House. Designated as a National Historic Landmark, the tour will include a look at the Collector's Suite and the museum's collection of Native American art.

Artist Lynne Mayocole will be an active part of the school's schedule, with tours, lectures and classes planned throughout the rest of the spring.

Mayocole will hold a lecture on the works of Paul Gauguin and Vincent Van Gogh called “Two Artists in Arles” on Thursday. Her “The Very High Renaissance in Italy and Beyond” class begins Thursday, May 7, and she leads two tours in May, visiting the Museum of Biblical Art on May 17 and the Galleries of Soho on May 28.

Whitney Museum consultant and art history teacher Elizabeth Thompson Colleary will teach a course on the Masterworks at the Metropolitan Museum of Art starting on April 29, with a lecture on Sir Frederic Leighton set for May 28.
