Niche rated schools in areas like academics, teachers, student culture and diversity, and resources and facilities. Of the 1,200 public high schools in New York, Rye High School was ranked best in Westchester County and No. 4 in New York State.
Rye received A+ grades in the academics and teachers categories. It also got an A in resources and facilities.
RHS also has 85 percent of its students taking at least one AP course with 70 percent of those students scoring a four or five on the test.
Scarsdale was ranked second in the county and 10th overall in the state. It also received top marks for academics and teachers.

- Blind Brook High School - No. 12
- Byram Hills High School - No. 13
- Ardsley High School - No. 22
- Bronxville High School - No. 23
