Scarsdale Kids Donate Toys To Students At Sister School In The Bronx

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Greenacres Community Service Committee recently held its annual toy drive, to benefit its sister school, PS1, located in the Bronx, and some Greenacres students made the trek to deliver the toys Wednesday.

Families with students in Greenacres Elementary School donated toys for the drive. PS1 has 675 students and the Greenacres students wanted to be sure that each student would receive a toy.

Many Greenacres families donated two or more gifts. Two students from each fifth-grade class made the trip to deliver the toys in person.
