Scarsdale Ranks Among Nation's Best High Schools

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale High School has been ranked the 36th-best public high school in the United States by bestcolleges.com.

Bestcolleges.com pulled its data from several different surveys conducted by the education website, niche.com, including:

  • Best academics
  • Safest
  • Best teachers
  • Best facilities 

Scarsdale students rank above the national average in SAT/ACT also boasts a graduation rate of 99 percent.

Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua was ranked the top school in the nation.

Other Westchester County schools that made the list are:

  • Byram Hills (No. 15)
  • John Jay (No. 35)
