SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Four Scarsdale residents were among 750 students to be named to the Dean’s List at Union College in Schenectady for their work during the spring semester.
Jacob Berman, a psychology major who graduated from the university in May, was named to the Dean’s List for the second time. He was a 2008 graduate of Edgemont High School.
The other three students honored are members of the class of 2015. Deborah Grinhaus, a women’s studies major, earned her first nomination to the Union College Dean’s List. She graduated from Scarsdale High School in 2011.
Jack Wilson, who remains undecided on his liberal arts major, also was named to the Dean’s List for the first time this spring. He was a 2010 graduate of the Masters School.
2011 Scarsdale High School graduate Yilun Zhang, a neuroscience major, earned the distinction for the first time as well.
To qualify for the Union College Dean’s List, students must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.5.
