SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Local Scarsdale residents were among 530 students who recently graduated from Union College during its 218th Commencement in May.

Jacob Berman graduated cum laude and received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. He was named to the Dean’s List for his work during the spring 2011 semester.

Chelsea Tussing, an anthropology major, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Matthew Ursillo received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the university. He was an economics major.

MSNBC talk show host Dylan Ratigan, a 1994 alum of the college, gave a message to the graduates about the realities of the world around them.
