NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – Three Scarsdale residents were among more than 1,000 undergraduate students who received degrees from SUNY New Paltz this year.
Members of the class of 2012 included Eleazar Herbst, who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary childhood education. Jordan Reisman and Sara Schwerd each received Bachelor of Art degrees in anthropology.
All three students were named to the Dean’s List at the university at least once during their tenure at New Paltz. Noah P. Dorsky, the chair of the SUNY New Paltz Foundation, delivered the commencement speech to a record number of graduates.
