IRVINGTON, N.Y. Tyler Aslanian opened the Edgemont-Irvington wrestling match Thursday with a win and younger brother, Kyle, concluded it with a victory as Edgemont prevailed 51-33.
In between, Trey Aslanian (120 pounds), the oldest of the wrestling brothers, also registered a win. The Aslanian brothers pinned their respective opponents. Trey and Kyle (99) had first-period pins and Tyler (106) recorded his in the second period.
In all, eight of Edgemonts nine match wins were by pin. Max Abramsky (126) and Danny Kornberg (220) ended their matches in the first period.
Irvington, which received four forfeits, had wins from Brett Pastore (145), by pin, and Jonah Rosenbloom (152).
