Edgemont Lacrosse Shuts Down Eastchester in Second Half

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Edgemont shut out Eastchester in the second half on Saturday en route to a 9-5 win.

The Panthers lacrosse team did not allow a single goal to the Eagles in the final two quarters, after Eastchester took a 3-1 lead in the first quarter and a 5-4 lead into halftime. Edgemont scored twice in the third quarter and three times in the fourth.

Jared Simon again led Edgemont with three goals and three assists. Trevor Ortega had 11 saves for the Panthers. Robert Lalli and Tom Cirillo led Eastchester with two goals apiece.
