Busy Scarsdale Road To See Single-Lane Closures For Days

SCARSDALE, N.Y. - There will be single-lane closures all week on one of Scarsdale’s busiest roads as crews from Con Edison continue infrastructure upgrade work in the area.

Beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 1, there will be single-lane closures on Popham Road at Church Lane and Church Lane South to facilitate milling and paving of areas previously disturbed by Con Edison.

The closures are expected to last through Friday, Nov. 3. Motorists have been encouraged to avoid the area this week, if possible.

Police said that there will be officers posted on-site to help facilitate and direct traffic smoothly. There will also be posted signage alerting motorists of the detour.
