Does the Town of Carmel have a Fire Inspector ? Most Insurance Companies always do routine inspections. It was a cold day and the kitchen exhaust fan being off created a heat build up on all the hot grease buildups. We would like to see the source of the fire from the FD and PD and Health Department report ? View Comment
If all our Auto license plate fees ,and Fuel oil taxes, per gallon along with Gas Taxes at the pumps were put in a locked box Trust Fund and used only for NY DOT roads , and also include 50% of Tolls paid . There wood never be any Pot Holes in NY State. Note The Governor of Florida just reduced all license plate fees by $25. per Auto. Due to excess taxes paid on fuels. View Comment
Failed because of Poor Management system and service the crews were untrained High School kids. Dirty tables, with long waits foe service while seated.
A Fish and Chips with a drive up would do well. View Comment

Who removed the oil tank ? A proper clean up should require soil testing. If the soil is clean enough? There is plenty of funds and reserves in the Town and Parks budget to construct a gravel walking path with a grass area of new sod. The Community should be also asked do they want the property fenced off with Park Rules, and signage for a barbecue area like Downing Park. View Comment
Anyone that installs an above ground oil tank should have a building permit.
A concrete base slab should be required. The soil should be protected with a safety drip pan under the tank. Oil trucks pump about 50 gallons per minute . If the vent pipe is clogged with ice and insects the air vent pressure will crack a welded tank seam . Was there a vent whistle on the tank ? Or a gauge?
Bring back the 202 Egg Farm next to the Costco site with the cows, horses and the apple trees. The Mohansic Indians never complained about high taxes and the lack of sewers, water was free, and every one had a job.
RT. 202 is over built. View Comment
Its good news for safer roads, There will be less dead Deer and auto crashes .The DOT and our Highway Departments should keep a record on how many dead deer are always being picked up daily. Deer are not reported for insurance accident costs. View Comment
