It seems to me that New Rochelle, as a public entity has no interest in preserving history. This armory is where the reserves met. It's where we all reported in after serving in the military. So many memories are going to be swept away so that you can have an open air market. First the Thruway Diner is allowed to be torn down so that a totally unneeded Walgreens can be built, now the Armory on the other end of town will soon be gone. It's sad. View Comment
