I'm always excited to have new places in Harrison but unfortunately this place is a disappointment. The tacos have no taste and is over priced. Like the article said, Aguilera's not a chef. I suggest they hire a chef and would love to go back and enjoy good food. I'm always willing to give places a second chance. Harrison really needs good restaurants badly. I've talked to a few fellow Harrison residents and they feel the same way.
Sorry for the bad review but its just the truth. View Comment
Forest... I don't hate animals but over population of deer is not good for our communities. Like always this turns into a political thing instead of a practical thing. Yes, deer are a living species but they don't bring any good for all of us. Somehow eradicating them makes the most sense. I don't know Rosenblum from a hole in a wall but he does have a point. Overpopulation is getting out of hand. View Comment
I'm just interested in the MTA project. I hope his confidentially agreement is that they are in the works to sign some sort of deal. Yes, DeCicco is great for our town but it still needs a facelift. Clean streets and awnings are great too, but a real downtown would be better. I tend to go to Rye and Mamaroneck for dinner and for shopping but if we had it downtown it would be great. The revenue alone with be huge.
Belmont seems to have been doing a good job but just hope he continues with the MTA project. View Comment
Love for businesses coming to Harrison but not sure about this one. The health for others with these E cigarettes is still in question...

I am a monthly pass holder (New Haven Line) and at first thought we should be discounted but we shouldn't. Why should we be discounted for something we used. I took the train on Thursday (Nov 1st) and my normal 42 minute train took 50. Should I get discounted for that? No. The idea of the Free tickets was to make it easier for everyone not to have to get their tickets until the following Monday. I know that made it easier for me not to have to worry. Yes, daily people saved some money but you didn't lose money and you weren't without a train. There were trains on Thursday. Considering the Storm was Monday/Tuesday and by Weds afternoon trains were limited and Thursday they were almost fully running with some delays, I would say that's not too bad.
Don't get me wrong, I think the MTA is horrible. They raise our rates over and over. With the amount of tolls and tickets, there is no way they should be in debt. But we all know there is money going to places that it shouldn't be.
Also, if they did credit us for this, all you're doing is taking more money out of the MTA which would just cause them to raise out ticket prices sooner. Sad but true.
Anyway, I would normally agree with you on the MTA and getting money back, but not in this case. View Comment
I blame Romney. Kidding...
I blame all the Yankees hitters. They all didn't hit. Yes A-Rod should hit more because of the money, but they have some guys on there that are also making good money and still didn't hit. And if you think about it, A-Rod was benched for two games and still no one hit. So he can't be blamed for losses the games he didn't play. Plan and simple, you need to blame the entire offense.
There will be some house cleaning next year but I don't think A-Rod will be one of them. View Comment
