The City just needs to make a solid commitment to support the library with proper funding, renovation and staff. School Districts tend to put the schools first while the library gets the scraps. The Mount Vernon library is too important for many people with many reasons to let it deteriorate any further. View Comment

Having spent too many Black Fridays on the staff side of the counter, I wish the whole concept would just go away. Spending time with family and friends should be more important than needless consumerism. View Comment
