I couldn't agree with the above more! Norwalk Schools get such a bad rap, and it's just because we don't have all the bells and whistles of the surrounding towns. I don't believe in judging a school by it's standarized testing. That's crazy! My son's education at an elementary school here in Norwalk has been top notch! To think about how much great 'stuff' we could have if we benefited from more money in the City. Home values would go up and everyone could be happy! View Comment
WOW, I would love my children to benefit from more hours of learning. Expanding the school year is not an option since most of our school get sweltering hot in June but adding an hour would be awesome! How about we also teach through the whole year and not until just the beginning of June. It was that way even when I was a kid...don't understand it. View Comment
I totally agree breemzac. They shortened the school year last year and still had the summer camps start at the same time...leaving me with my kids and nothing to do. That was a whole lot of inconvenience. If they don't make the school year longer...they should start the parks and recs camps sooner! View Comment
I don't see why everyone is giving these men such a hard time. They got really lucky...jealous, envious...YES but stomping my feet and saying "It's not fair!" is just ridiculous. Good for them! May they and their families use the money well and for whatever they want! View Comment
Sending my oldest son to Wolfpit Elementary School has been a wonderful experience so far. The teachers are top-notch and the community at the school is small and intimate. I look forward to both my sons going there for years to come! View Comment
