The concert and anniversary coincided with the Scarsdale Sidewalk Sale and the announcement that the Scarsdale music program for toddlers under age 6 is expanding and opening in the Rye Brook Shopping Center in September.
"It was an amazing turnout," said Dana Goodman, owner of Songs for Seeds in Scarsdale and Rye Brook. "We were thrilled to host all the children and their parents who had a great time, and we were encouraged about the early interest in our expansion and classes in Rye Brook."
Founded in 2009 by the owners of Apple Seeds, a NYC-based company that offers fun, educational programs for young children, Songs for Seeds has been named "Best Music Class" by New York magazine and "Most Magical Music Class" by Red Tricycle.
Songs for Seeds offers children’s morning and afternoon classes for newborns to age 6 at Scarsdale Synagogue on Ogden Road. The 45-minute classes are led by a three-piece live band of teacher/musicians who encourage kids to sing, play instruments, and dance.
