Man Removed From Train In Scarsdale After Reported Threats

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- A man who was seemingly emotionally disturbed allegedly threatened to shoot a Metro-North conductor on Monday but was removed from the train in Scarsdale without incident, according to a LoHud.com report.

According to a Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokeswoman, the man was brought to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for a psychiatric assessment, the article said.

He never showed a weapon, and no charges have been filed, according to the report.
