SCARSDALE, N.Y. - The Popham Road bridge will remain open Wednesday, according to a message on the Scarsdale Village website.
The bridge had been scheduled to be closed to allow the contractor to pour the concrete deck. A bad weather forecast pushed the closure to Wednesday, however, with rain once again in the forecast the work has been postponed.
Plans announced Tuesday night by Village Manager Alfred Gatta called for a second rain date on Friday but, with an uncertain forecast, the Village is holding off on announcing the new closing date.
