The water alert removes all of the restrictions placed on village residents over the weekend, sans lawn watering.

Properties located between the Bronx River Parkway and Post Road are permitted to water their lawn twice a week, on Monday and Thursday. Properties between Post Road and Wilmot Road, Palmer Avenue, Secor or Old Mamaroneck Road may water their lawns on Wednesday and either Saturday or Sunday. Properties between the latter and the Mamaroneck border may water their lawns on Wednesday and one day on the weekend.

See the attached map to determine when you can water your lawn.

Village officials note that properties with well water that is used for lawn watering may continue to utilize it as they see fit, but they must display a sign indicating that well water is in use for the general public.

Restrictions have been put in place to reduce the early morning water use that has exceeded the capacity of Scarsdale’s water supply station, resulting in poor water pressure for certain residents.
