Several morning accidents are causing morning delays on a rainy and foggy Thursday morning.
An accident on southbound I-87 in Rockland is causing delays near Exit 11. One lane was initially closed after the crash. Backups have been reported back to Exit 14A.
Two lanes are blocked on the southbound Bronx River Parkway after a serious 6:30 a.m. accident at Wakefield Avenue in Yonkers, reportedly involving a car hitting a pedestrian. The lanes are expected to remain closed through the morning commute during the police investigation. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
In Westchester, a 7 p.m. accident is causing delays on northbound I-684 at the I-287 merger.
