Foreign Film Series: 6:30 p.m. "Incendies" is a Canadian film in French with English subtitles. A mother's dying wish creates a painful puzzle her children are forced to solve. At the reading of their mother's will, twins Jeanne and Simon are given instructions to locate the father they believed was dead and the brother neither knew existed. They travel to the Middle East to piece together the story of the woman who brought them into the world, and what they discover will change their lives forever. Scarsdale Village Board of Appeals: 8 p.m. The board is scheduled consider 14 applications , including the Scarsdale Historical Society's request for an amendment to a variance granted in 1974 to operate the Cudner-Hyatt House as a museum. The amendment would remove the variance and allow the property to revert to a single-family residence use. Village Hall, 1001 Post Road, Scarsdale.

Gilda's Club Westchester Comedy Gala: 7 p.m. Jodi Shapiro and Wendy Kleinman of Scarsdale will be honored at the annual Gilda's Club Westchester Comedy Gala. The evening will feature will feature Jenna Wolfe of "Weekend Today" as the emcee, and Mario Cantone – Charlotte's wedding planner from "Sex and the City" – as the evening's entertainment. Junior League of Central Westchester Gala: 7 p.m. celebrate the JLCW's growth over 65 years and celebrate the organization's commitment to promoting volunteerism; developing the potential of women; and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
