- Independent Film Series: "Margin Call," 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Set in the high-stakes world of the financial industry, "Margin Call" is a thriller involving the key players at an investment firm during one perilous 24-hour period in the early stages of the 2008 financial crisis. When an entry-level analyst unlocks information that could prove to be the downfall of the firm, a roller-coaster ride ensues as decisions both financial and moral catapult the lives of all involved to the brink of disaster. - A Night In Vegas, 7:30 - 11:30 p.m.

The Scarsdale Teen Center is hosting a casino night for high school students only. For $10 admission, players get $100 casino money to play roulette, poker and blackjack. Scarsdale Teen Center, 862 Scarsdale Ave., Scarsdale, N.Y.

- Service of Responsibility, 7:45 p.m.

Author and illustrator Kathryn Otoshi will be the guest speaker for the Westchester Reform Temple's annual Service of Responsibility, which commemorates the Holocaust and urges the community to end genocide in our time. - Kids' All-Day Film Festival, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

"The Muppet Movie" starts at 10 a.m., rated PG. With the help of three fans, The Muppets must reunite to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon. "Dolphin Tale" screens at noon, rated PG. This is a story centered on the friendship between a boy and a dolphin whose tail was lost in a crab trap. "Star Wars: A New Hope," rated PG, begins at 2 p.m. A spirited farm boy, Luke Skywalker, joins rebel forces to save the princess from the evil Darth Vader, and the galaxy from the empire's planet-destroying Death Star. - Scarsdale High School French Club Gala, 5:30 p.m.

- Pitch In For Parks, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Join with the Junior League of Central Westchester to help clean up the Bronx River Parkland in the largest single-day volunteer activity of the year in Westchester County, in coordination with the Bronx River Parkway Reservation Conservancy (BRPRC). The reservation is a significant natural feature along its 12.5 miles from the Bronx border to Kensico Dam. It provides valuable green space, passing through densely populated urban areas like Yonkers, Mount Vernon and White Plains, as well as the hamlets, villages and towns of Bronxville, Tuckahoe, Crestwood, Eastchester, Scarsdale and Hartsdale. Volunteers are asked to meet at the location, on the pathway just north of the Harney Road entrance in Eastchester.

- Yiddish Theater Comes Alive, 4 p.m.

Westchester Reform Temple welcomes Zalmen Mlotek, artistic director of The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, for one performance only. Mlotek will perform Yiddish songs in concert with Cantor Robert P. Abelson. This free, family-friendly concert will be in Mameloschen (Yiddish) with English subtitles.
