Police were dispatched to a Bradley Road home at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Friday, July 14, after a homeowner reported that he saw a suspicious green Acura parked in front of his home, occupied by two black men for a period of time.

The resident said that the two men proceeded to exit the vehicle and walk up a driveway of his neighbor’s home, police said. One man then took what “appeared to be a brown mail package approximately the size of a shoebox.” They then went back to their vehicle and sped off, traveling north toward Boulevard.

The former homeowners of the residence the men took the package from have passed away, according to the man that spoke with police. The home is currently vacant and is up for sale.

According to police, the first man was described as a black male with a skinny build and short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt. The second had a heavier build with longer black hair. Both men were estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old.

Police checked the exterior of the home and found no suspicious activity. Patrol then canvassed the area, but did not see the men or the Acura. The incident is currently under investigation.
