Police are investigating a series of threatening voicemails that were allegedly left by a building owner to one of his tenants in Scarsdale.
A Garth Road resident reported to the Scarsdale Police Department on Saturday that his wife had received a threatening voicemail from the co-owner of the building they live in.
According to police, the resident felt threatened due to the nature of the voicemail, which included threats against the safety of the resident, his wife and daughter, who was specifically threatened twice in the voicemail.
Police said the resident does not know the reason the building owner would send such a voicemail. Detectives are currently investigating the incident to determined the cause and nature of the threats.
