Scarsdale Police Investigating Gun Weilding, Bicycle Riding, Robber

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Scarsdale police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a popular Post Road gas station and may be related to similar robberies in the area.

The Scarsdale police believe that the robbery in Scarsdale may be related to other incidents.

According to Det. Lt. Thomas Altizio, shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday, a white male donning all black clothing entered the office of the Shell gas station at 999 Post Road, displaying a handgun and demanding money from employees.

Following the robbery of the gas station, the suspect subsequently fled the scene on bicycle, traveling southbound on Post Road.

Scarsdale police are actively investigating the incident, which may Altizio noted may be related to several other gas station robberies that also occurred at nearby locations on Monday.
