Children will create scenery and props in an art class, learn songs and dance numbers in a dance class, and learn lines in a theater class, to culminate into a final production on the last day of the workshop.
DAC Dance Director Bonnie Gombos will run the dance portion of the workshop, while Heather Kahlert, art teacher at the DAC, will teach the visual art portion. Sessions will take place in the DAC Weatherstone Studio, which houses a black box theater, and the Visual Arts studio, where all DAC art classes take place.
