Solving New York's Unfunded Mandate Crisis: 7:30 p.m. “BEST4NY” (Better Education and Smarter Taxation For New York), a non-partisan citizens advocacy group based in Westchester, will hold a public forum and information meeting entitled “Solving New York’s Unfunded Mandate Crisis.” Forum speakers will include Brian Kolb (R, C, I-Canandaigua) and George Oros, chief of staff for Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino. Putting Out the Social Media "Fire:" 12 p.m. In honor of Fire Prevention Week and the opening of its new office in Bedford Hills, Burton Jay Computer Consulting is hosting an open house offering a social media seminar called "Putting Out Technology Fires: Social Media Made Simple," plus a networking session, lunch and personalized consulting. Dreaming It Up: 7 p.m. Discover the stories behind the film "Rioand its lovable avian cast.
