Beginning this week, and continuing through March 31 next year, overnight parking between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. is prohibited on any public street within the village. Additionally, overnight parking is banned at the Freightway Open Lot, Freightway Garage Roof Top Level, Beatty Lot, Scarsdale Avenue Lot and the Merchant Parking Lot.

Police caution that parking your vehicle on any sidewalk or in the front yard is prohibited by village law.

“Your cooperation in keeping the streets clear of overnight parking will enhance traffic safety and allow the Public Works Department to adequately perform necessary street cleaning and emergency snow and ice removal operations.”
