Hyattsville Man Charged In DC Nightclub Shooting That Wounded 6: Cops A Maryland man has been arrested in a shooting that left six people injured at a Washington DC nightclub, authorities announced. Rennwel Mantock, 29, of Hyattsville, MD, opened fire after being kicked out of Decades nightclub on Connecticut Avenue NW just after 11:20 p.m. Friday, April 26, DC Metro police announced Saturday. 2.9 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles New Jersey New Jersey continues to be shaken by aftershocks. The latest, following the 4.8 magnitude quake that rocked the area on April 5, occurred just before 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, according to the USGS. This aftershock was among the highest in magnitude of the dozens of aftershocks since the initial earthquake. It was reported 7 km WSW of Gladstone, and according to the USGS map, east of Tewksbury. Man Sexually Assaulted Child In Walter's Park — Feet From P'Burg Youth Corps Building: Cops Police are seeking the public's help identifying and locating a man who sexually assaulted a child at a park right next to a youth corps building in Warren County last year. The Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s sexually assaulted the child at Walter's Park in Phillipsburg in September 2023, then told the child not to tell anyone, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office announced. Machete-Wielding Man Chases Another Driver Through Toms River, Crashes In Brick Township: Cops A 29-year-old Beachwood man has been arrested in a Toms River road rage incident, police announced. The victim was stopped at a red light on Water Street around 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 when a man later identified as Austin Martinez pulled up in a Blue Jeep Liberty, and tapped on the window with a machete, police said. 2 Dead In High-Speed Fauquier County Crash: Police A 31-year-old driver and his 67-year-old passenger were killed in a Fauquier County crash this week, police said. Michael A.H. Sanson of Orange was heading south on Route 29/James Madison Highway in a Chevrolet Equinox when he ran off the right side of the road and hit a mailbox, then a tree, around 11:05 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, according to Virginia State Police. Armed Burglar Caught Fleeing Across Reston Golf Course A man who broke into a home and robbed a woman at gunpoint was arrested after attempting to flee across a Fairfax County golf course, police said. The man broke into a home on the 2200 block of Stone Wheel Drive in Reston and robbed the woman at gunpoint. Police said only that he then tried to flee across a nearby golf course. While police did not say which golf course he fled through, the closest is Reston National Golf Course is located approximately one mile away. He was quickly apprehended, police said.

Driver, 33, Killed In High-Speed Woodbridge Crash: Cops A 33-year-old driver was killed in an overnight crash in Woodbridge, police said. Donnell Tyquan Epps was heading north at a high rate of speed on Redwing Drive in a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when he lost control of the car and left the roadway around 2:30 a.m. near Shallow Court, county police said. Suspended Driver Wanted For Hit-Run Arrested After Tailgating Motorist In Stafford: Sheriff A 37-year-old woman wanted for felony hit-and-run out of Stafford was arrested after another bout of "less than ideal" driving, authorities said. Ladonna Smith of Montross had apparently been swerving and tailgating another driver on Deacon Road around 7:40 p.m. Thursday, April 25, the county sheriff said.
