Exterior Fire Enters Hasbrouck Heights Home
Firefighters quickly doused a blaze that found its way inside a Hasbrouck Heights home. Flames climbed the side and extended into the basement and attic of the three-story wood-frame home on Franklin Avenue between Oak Grove Avenue and Boulevard at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, April 27, responders said. Carjacked Vehicle Pins 2 Pedestrians Against Bar In NJ's Largest City
Two people were hospitalized after being pinned against a Newark bar by a stolen car late Saturday, April 27, police said. Police called to the scene found a male and a female pedestrian with injuries suffered by a carjacked vehicle that had pinned them against the New Cozy Corner Bar & Grill on S. 12th Street and South Orange Avenue at 11:59 p.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Driver Hits Two Poles, Dies In Predawn Route 17 Crash
A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in front of the Home Depot on Route 17 in Lodi before dawn on Sunday, authorities confirmed. The 31-year-old Jersey City motorist's Jeep struck two different poles on the northbound highway shortly after 4 a.m. April 28, Lodi Police Lt. Dominic Miller said. Two people were injured after a tractor trailer slammed through a building on Route 23 in Cedar Grove following a three-vehicle crash on Friday, April 26, Cedar Grove police said. Police in Central Jersey have identified the 38-year-old Pennsylvania motorcyclist killed in a Route 1 crash earlier this week. Lawrence Green of Marcus Hook, PA, was operating a Honda motorcycle near Major Road during the 7:40 a.m. crash on Tuesday, April 23, according to South Brunswick police. Police ID South River Driver Killed In South Brunswick Crash
South Brunswick police have released the name of the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, April 23. Curtis Bryant 3rd, 65, of South River was driving a Nissan Maxima on Route 535 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, police said.
