One alleged gunman and one bystander were hospitalized after an exchange of gunfire in Pottstown on Thursday night, May 2, police say. Authorities were called to the corner of Beech and North Evans streets around 9:20 p.m. for reports of gunfire, authorities said in a release. A state police vehicle was involved in a crash on Interstate 95 early on Thursday, May 2, according to troopers. It happened in the southbound lanes near mile marker 6.2 in Chester, police wrote in a report.
